Transport with driver
The most popular means of getting to the camp is in a 4WD Toyota Land Cruiser with an English-speaking driver. A return trip from Marrakech of 4 days duration costs 680 euro and of 5 days 850 euro. The vehicle is also available for your use whilst in the desert. Each additional day costs 170 euro. The price of a 2-day trip is 550 euro and a 3-day trip is 600 euro. The vehicle can transport up to 4 people. The cost includes the drivers board and lodging, fuel and drinking water.
Self-drive and Guiding
If you would like to drive yourself in the desert, you can rent your own 4WD. A Land Cruiser, which is the most reliable and sturdy vehicle, costs from 140 euro per day. On arrival in M’Hamid (where the tar road ends) we organise a guide to take you to the camp. The guide costs 100 euro for a return trip to M'Hamid and 120 euro if exiting the desert via Foum Zguid.
You can also rent a ‘normal sedan car’, and park in M'Hamid. We would then organize a 4x4 to take you to the camp (a trip of about 1 hour 30 minutes). Assuming you spend two nights in the desert, this costs 320 euro for the return trip, and the vehicle would also be available for your use whilst at the desert camp.
Children
Children between the ages of 5 and 11 are charged 60 euro each providing they are sharing a tent with their parents. Children between 12 and 18 are charged 50% of the normal tariff, and we will accommodate them in their own separate tent depending on availability.
Unfortunately, for safety reasons, we do not accommodate children 4 years and younger at the camp.
Return trips from Marrakech
Our most popular trips are the 3, 4 and 5-day round-trips from Marrakech.
The 4-day trip, which includes one night at a guesthouse en route to the desert and 2 nights at the camp, costs from 1930 euro if staying at Kasbah Azul in the Draa Valley at Agdz and 1870 euro for 2 people if staying at Riad Caravane or Kasbah Ellouze at Ait Benhaddou.
The 5-day trip, which includes one night at a guesthouse en route to the desert and 3 nights at the camp, costs from 2630 euro if staying at Kasbah Azul in the Draa Valley in Agdz and from 2570 euro for 2 people if staying at Riad Caravane of Kasbah Ellouze at Ait Benhaddou.
The 3-day trip, which includes 2 nights at the camp costs 1660 euro for 2 people.
Marrakech to Fez (or vice versa)
A 4-day trip which includes two nights at the camp and one night at Eco Auberge Le Festival in Todra Gorge en route to Fez costs 2040 euro for 2 people.
A 5-day trip which includes two nights at the camp, one night at Eco Auberge Le Festival in Todra Gorge en route to Fez and one night at a guesthouse on Ait Benhaddou en route to Marrakech costs 2340 euro for 2 people.

Payment
NO DEPOSITS ARE REQUIRED.
Payment only needs to be made 28 days in advance by bank (wire) transfer in USD, euro or pounds. We also accept PayPal, although there is a 3% fee for PayPal transactions.
Please note that when paying by bank transfer we apply the spot market rate, so you save on the mark-up applied by credit card companies.
One of the best ways to pay by bank (wire) transfer is to use the wise ap. They charge about 0,5%, and use spot exchange rates. Once setup it is easy to use, and far more economical than paypal, paying by credit card or paying through your bank.
Cancellation
If your trip is cancelled for any reason it is fully refundable provided the cancellation is received at least 30 days before your arrival date. If cancelled within 7 to 30 days of your arrival date it is 40% refundable, and if within only 7 days is 30% refundable. We try to be reasonable and apply common sense!
The calculation is based on the total amount of the booking.
