Service
Expert hospitality is provided by the knowledgeable local Berbers
The camp is staffed exclusively by people who were born and raised in the desert. In overall charge and making sure everything in your vacation goes according to plan is Mohamed Boulfrifi (Bobo). Bobo’s brother works in the camp, as do several cousins and friends.
Service is relaxed and friendly. Being from the desert they are experts in surviving in harsh conditions. Skills include, amongst other things, securing tents in the event of a sandstorm, rescuing vehicles stuck in the sand and navigating in poor visibility.
Food and all drinks are included. Beverages include water, soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits. Food includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks, but if you want anything at anytime, just ask.
Dining in the desert is an event in itself, and can take takes up a large part of one’s day. Breakfast include freshly made breads, juices, cereal, fruits and yogurts, whilst lunch and dinner is a purely Moroccan affair. Expect to see freshly-made salads, slow-cooked Mechoui lamb, Harira soup, couscous, brochettes, lentils, and of course tagines.
However, if you have any special culinary requests, just ask.
