Nomadic camp

Camel ride and walk through the remote Sahara to a different camp each night

Whilst the permanent camp is off the beaten track, the nomadic camp is an experience for those that like riding a camel or walking to a different and remote place each night.

The nomadic camp is private and encompasses the most important elements of basic luxury. Hence, you will have a spacious 4x4 tent with en suite bathroom. Each tent has a king sized bed with comfortable mattress, linen and pillows and wall-to-wall rugs, whilst the bathroom has a toilet and a silver pewter bucket for washing.

Breakfast and dinner are served on a beautifully set table under the stars. Cold drinks including beer and wine are always available. Pouffes and mattresses are setup both outside and under cover of a tent. A fire blazes at night.

Treks are guided. Water and cold drinks are always available. Lunch is served near or in the dunes, under a tamarisk tree.

The treks are private. There are only 2 tents, so only a maximum of 4 people at any one time.

The duration of the trek is flexible. It can be for only 2 nights, or anything up to 10 nights. And the location of the camps is dependent upon how long you want to walk each day.

The cost of the trek is 275 euro per person per night. All meals, drink, camels and guides are included.

The nomadic camp operates from 15 September to 20 May, but is not available from 20 December to 5 January and over the Easter period.
